Connecticut Renaissance, Inc.  – Chief Financial Officer  (CFO)

Connecticut Renaissance is seeking an accomplished individual to serve as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).  The ideal candidate will have experience with managing financial operations in a nonprofit organization; preferably in the health and human services field.  The CFO will have overall managerial responsibility for CT Renaissance’s accounting, budget development, accounts payable/receivable and is also supporting operations and programs.  The CFO will have primary responsibility for all contractual matters and will serve as part of the Executive Management Team.  Candidates must have proven experience managing the financial and accounting departments for a similar nonprofit, health and human services agency, or in the behavioral health sector. The CFO will carry out all executive duties and responsibilities which are listed in the full position description below.

Since 1967 Connecticut Renaissance has provided quality substance abuse and behavioral health services to men, women, and adolescents throughout Connecticut. In 2017 Connecticut Renaissance began an exciting new chapter with the hiring of new CEO, Kathleen Deschenes.  Together with the Board of Directors and the Leadership Team, she developed a Strategic Plan to guide the organization through 2019-2021with goals to strengthen the infrastructure of the organization and develop new programs and services.
