Chief Human Resources Officer

Northern Rivers Family of Services is a not-for-profit organization that provides business management and program guidance to its member agencies, Northeast Parent & Child Society and Parsons Child and Family Center.


 

We are searching for a Chief Human Resources Officer to
lead our group of HR professionals based at 60 Academy Rd, Albany NY.  The
Chief of Human Resources reports directly to the CEO and participates as a
member of Agency Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for providing
strategic leadership and oversight of all Human Resource department activities
in support of the Northern Rivers Family of Services’ workforce.  If you have experience within Human Resources in non-profits or health care, this position may be for you! 

Responsibilities
include oversight of the following functional areas:
 recruitment and retention,
workforce training and development, employee relations, compensation and
benefit management, oversight of our HRIS system, and regulatory compliance. 

This position provides strategic leadership with the goal of attracting,
developing, recognizing and retaining a talented, diverse, and highly-effective
work force that supports and executes the agency’s mission.

 

Required
Experience:

  • Master’s Degree – Public Administration, Business Administration,
    Human Services Administration or a related field
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience
  • SPHR certification
  • Knowledge of Non-profit Human Service Organizations


    Preferred
    Experience:

     

  • Experience with a large organization
  • Knowledge of Mergers and Affiliations
  • Knowledge of ADP system
