Business Intelligence Analyst

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), an international humanitarian medical association founded in 1971, provides medical assistance to populations whose lives are threatened, primarily in cases of armed conflict, but also epidemics, pandemics, natural disasters, or exclusion from healthcare.

This position is open as part of a permanent replacement.

Mission:
Within the Private Fundraising department and under the supervision of the BI, Studies and Statistics Activity Manager, you will manage the administration of the BI environment and participate in producing tools for steering fundraising activity. You will also occasionally provide support in conducting ad hoc or sector-specific marketing studies and analyses.

Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and optimize the BI environment in collaboration with the data engineer
- Analyze functional and technical needs to translate them into relevant reports and dashboards
- Ensure optimal and consistent development of BI tools, coordinating vendor interventions
- Guarantee data quality, reliability, updating, and availability
- Collaborate regularly with the data team to align data modeling with business needs
- Automate and document technical and functional procedures
- Produce and maintain reporting and dashboards for the fundraising department's various services
- Monitor, control, and analyze fundraising results in direct collaboration with operational teams
- Provide technical and functional support to users
- Lead training workshops to promote tool adoption and a Self-Service BI culture
- Promote best practices in data management and monitor innovations in the field

Profile Required:

Education:
- Degree in BI, big data, statistics, applied mathematics, data-oriented computer science, or decision support (minimum 5 years of higher education)

Experience:
- At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar role preferred

Skills:
- Good knowledge of Business Intelligence issues
- Knowledge of Azure, Fabric, and Power BI
- Knowledge of SQL and Python

Employment Conditions:
Status: Permanent contract (CDI), full-time. Management position, based in Paris.

Compensation and Benefits: €47,800 gross annual (over 13 months). 22 RTT days per year. Remote work per MSF policy (2 days/week). Health insurance covered 100%. Meal vouchers of €12 (60% covered by MSF). 50% coverage of public transport subscription or bicycle mileage allowance (€0.25/km, up to €450/year).
