Qualifications

A Bachelors degree is required for this position and a master's degree in a related field such as public or business administration is preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of five to eight years of successful local government experience as a City Manager, Assistant City Manager, or service as a key department head of a larger local government. Significant experience in municipal finance/budgeting, economic development, utilities, public works, and safety services is recommended.
