Communications Specialist - Digital

PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Communications Specialist is a key member of the Marketing & Communications team, responsible for external and internal messaging that raises awareness of the Food Bank's mission and fundraising efforts. This position manages the day-to-day administration of the NTFB website and oversees analytics across digital platforms to ensure the Food Bank's online presence consistently reflects the organization's brand and messaging.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in digital media, communications, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Proficiency with Google products, including Google Analytics and Google Ads
• Knowledge of Content Management Systems such as WordPress and utilization of SEO strategies
• Ability to create online forms and crowdfunding pages; basic design/layout skills desired
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud products and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication as well as presentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively and interact professionally with people at all levels
• Project management skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail; results-oriented with problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems - Blackbaud preferred
Experience:
• One year of related experience in developing and implementing digital strategies to effectively engage audiences, leverage analytics insights, and manage creative projects
