Longwood University seeks a Dean of the Cook-Cole College of Arts and Sciences. The Dean serves as the chief academic and administrative officer of the College and provides visionary leadership, promotes excellence in all aspects of the College consistent with the University mission, and serves as an experienced and capable steward of its resources.
The Dean is a key member of the University's senior academic leadership team and is responsible for the College's strategic vision, academic programs, budget, and personnel. The Dean is a trusted advocate for the College's students, faculty, staff, and academic programs.
Required: Terminal degree in a discipline housed within the College, exemplary record of teaching and scholarship, progressively responsible academic administrative experience, and budget management experience.
