Position Summary
This role leads corporate development execution for a global, private equity-backed medical technology company. The Director partners with executive leadership and private equity sponsors to evaluate and execute inorganic growth and portfolio initiatives, spanning the full transaction lifecycle — from market identification through valuation, diligence, negotiation, and closing.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the evaluation and execution of M&A, divestitures, and strategic investments.
- Own transaction financial analysis, including valuation, modeling, and synergy assessment.
- Drive end-to-end transaction processes and coordinate cross-functional teams (legal, tax, HR, IT, etc.).
- Develop investment theses and decision-oriented materials for senior management and the Board.
- Manage relationships with investment banks, private equity firms, and target companies.
- Support integration/separation planning and maintain transaction pipelines.
- Provide strategic support on high-priority enterprise initiatives and support HR with corporate bonus matrix design.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business required; MBA/advanced degree preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, and/or corporate development.
- Prior healthcare or medical technology experience strongly preferred.
- Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, M&A transaction lifecycle, and diligence.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Ability to handle confidential information and willingness to travel.
