Director of Development

Established in 1984, Equitas Health is a regional not-for-profit healthcare system serving more than 67,000 individuals annually in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia. With 17 offices in 11 cities, we provide comprehensive services including primary care, HIV/AIDS treatment, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and prevention programs.

Position: Director of Development
Starting Salary: $113,300 annually

Primary Responsibilities:

Annual Fund:
• Cultivate and manage portfolio of individual, corporate, and event donors
• Lead efforts to identify and engage new major donor prospects and corporate sponsors
• Develop strategies to address gaps in giving and increase donor retention
• Ensure timely donor education, communication, and recognition

Strategic Leadership:
• Partner with VP of Advancement & Communications to develop annual fundraising budgets
• Provide regular reports for executive leadership and board committees
• Supervise Database Administrator for accurate gift tracking
• Work with organizational leaders to develop compelling impact stories
• Supervise and mentor direct reports

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree required; CFRE preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in development, including 5+ years in team management
• Knowledge of Columbus, OH philanthropic community
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environment
