The Director of the School of Policy and International Affairs and the International Affairs undergraduate program guides the programs' academic, programmatic, and external structures at the University of Maine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide SPIA's graduate and IA's undergraduate programs in international policy and relations
- Promote communication among faculty members, practitioners, researchers, and students
- Coordinate interdisciplinary investigation related to international policy issues
- Develop educational programs, conferences and internships
- Work with external Board of Advisors and advance research on global issues
Qualifications:
- Master's degree required
- Evidence of mentoring/coaching expertise
- Documented extensive practitioner experience with significant international responsibilities
- Strategic leadership experience, including external relations, fundraising, and community outreach
- Well-developed administrative and management skills
Typical hiring range: $75,000 to $90,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience
