Salary: $160,000 per year
Status: Exempt / Full Time (40 hours per week)

The Divisional Finance Director (DFD) oversees the financial affairs and accounting of The Salvation Army Cascade Division. The DFD gives leadership and supervision to the Finance Department and is responsible for accounting, planning and reporting for approximately 35 units within the Cascade Division. The DFD is a member of the leadership team and will help to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting as required.

Essential Duties include advising divisional administration on fiscal policy, supervising management reporting including financial statements, audits and budgets, providing oversight of accounting procedures throughout the division, and functioning as secretary for the Command Finance Council.

Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business (MBA preferred)
- CPA or CMA certification (current certification required)
- Minimum 5 years experience in managerial accounting and supervisory experience
- Ability to serve as a member of a leadership team

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of GAAP and FASB guidelines
- Broad proficiency in Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently

Travel required, including occasional overnight and out-of-state travel. Must have valid driver's license.
