Executive Director Development - Development and GCPS Foundation

Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) seeks an Executive Director of Development to provide senior leadership and strategic direction for the Development and GCPS Foundation. This role serves as the Senior Executive Director of the Gwinnett County Public Schools Foundation Fund, Inc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead all fundraising activities including annual giving, endowment and capital campaigns, and special projects. Manage office infrastructure and databases, oversee corporate and community relations, and direct public relations and marketing programs. Make effective presentations to senior management and Boards of Education.

QUALIFICATIONS

License/Certification: Must hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia Educator's Certificate in Educational Leadership and/or Support Personnel License.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field required; Master's Degree preferred.

Experience: 10 years of experience (or combination) in administration, investment planning, not-for-profit fundraising, and/or supervision with instructional leadership responsibilities required; system-level experience preferred.

Skills: Knowledge of fundraising strategies, event planning, and management. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Experience in human and financial resource planning. Ability to make effective presentations to senior management and Boards of Education.
