Job Summary:
The Executive Director, PACE Program is responsible for all aspects of the PACE Program. This includes the planning, organizing, development, operations and compliance of all services. This role is also responsible for the administrative, professional, clinical, financial, and other programmatic aspects of the program to ensure safe, effective, and efficient programs that support the respect and independence of its participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing a strategic and business plan for the growth of PACE Program.
- Ensure effective administrative oversight for development and implementation of PACE program and facilities.
- Coordinate the governance of PACE Program to ensure that issues are brought to the attention of the Board appropriately and the Board is kept informed on key performance aspects.
- Serve as liaison with state and federal regulatory agencies to negotiate as needed and represent the interests of PACE Program.
- Ensure the accurate and timely management of the fiscal operations of PACE Program.
- Ensure the development and management of data systems for PACE program.
- Oversee policy and quality program for compliance and performance improvement.
- Develop and approve policies that meet applicable regulatory agency requirements and ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
- Direct the day-to-day operations of the services and business operations of PACE Program.
- Direct marketing and outreach activities of PACE Program to meet enrollment goals within regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure timely and appropriate submission of rate proposals and cost reports to the Department of Health.
- Monitor service and administrative costs for maximum value and operating results.
- Negotiate provider contracts with contracted health and medical services.
- Work with finance department to develop and approve fiscal year budgets.
- Ensure management staff accountability for supervision of staff in regard to staffing, employment, evaluation and training.
Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years previous experience in Health Care or Geriatric Care/Long Term Care.
- Self-starter with knowledge of program development and strong relationship skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's or bachelor's level education in Health Care Administration preferred. MSN or BSN accepted with equal experience considered.
