Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost

North Carolina State University is seeking an Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost to serve as the chief academic officer and lead the overall academic mission of the university. The provost oversees academic planning, faculty development and quality, organizational change management, resource allocation, and student success initiatives. This senior leader will work collaboratively with the Chancellor and other university leaders to advance NC State's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as chief academic officer and advocate for academic success
• Lead academic planning and encourage interdisciplinary collaborations
• Build faculty capacity, quality, and positive faculty experience
• Manage institutional and organizational change effectively
• Oversee allocation of academic resources in collaboration with CFO
• Work with Chancellor and senior officers on university-wide initiatives
• Ensure student academic success and positive collegiate experience
• Support research portfolio and priorities
• Partner with Division of Academic and Student Affairs
• Advance NC State's entrepreneurial and innovative spirit
• Expand global commitments and international engagement
• Build extramural and philanthropic support
