Role and Goal of Human Resources Business Partner:

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic and operational partner to assigned divisions, supporting both day-to-day HR needs and longer-term workforce objectives. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role works closely with leadership to deliver consistent, compliant, and effective HR services across employee relations, talent management, performance management, workforce planning, and employee engagement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Serve as HR strategic advisor for assigned divisions
• Advise divisional leadership on performance management, corrective action, and employee engagement matters
• Apply and interpret employment laws, County and Precinct One policies, and HR guidelines
• Identify, assess, and communicate workforce-related risks and trends
• Partner with leadership to drive change management initiatives
• Promote fair, equitable, and inclusive employment practices
• Analyze HR data and workforce metrics
• Provide subject-matter expertise during annual and cyclical HR processes

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Human Resources Development, Business Management, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience working as an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist or HR Manager

Preferences:
• HR certification – SHRM or HRCI preferred
