Human Resources Generalist

JEWISH FEDERATION OF PALM BEACH COUNTY

West Palm Beach, FL, USA  (On-site)

The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day human resources operations while working within the mission, vision, and core values of the organization. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming and professional employee experience from recruitment through onboarding and ongoing employment support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all onboarding activities for new hires
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees during onboarding
- Conduct and coordinate employee orientation sessions
- Schedule interviews, onboarding meetings, and HR-related meetings
- Facilitate 30-day, 60-day, and 90-day employee check-in meetings
- Provide reporting and data related to recruitment, onboarding, and turnover
- Maintain accurate employee personnel and onboarding files
- Assist with recruitment processes and payroll backup support
- Support compliance efforts related to onboarding documentation

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 2-4 years of human resources or onboarding experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems; Paylocity experience strongly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
