Manager, Philanthropic Engagement

United Way Suncoast is seeking a Manager, Philanthropic Engagement to create and implement volunteer engagement plans that strengthen relationships with community members in support of United Way Suncoast's Community Impact initiatives.

Location: Tampa or Lakewood Ranch, FL (Hybrid Work Environment)
Type: Full Time

Objectives:
- Recruit community members to volunteer through annual Weeks of Service and other engagement opportunities that support United Way Suncoast and strategic community partners
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and create meaningful engagement opportunities for individual and/or group volunteers
- Communicate with external community partners to identify volunteer needs that align with United Way Suncoast's mission
- Manage accurate data in the CRM for volunteers and external nonprofit partners and generate reports
- Participate in committees, serve as spokesperson, and create and deliver presentations on local, regional, and national platforms
- Support volunteer recognition efforts
- May contribute to budgets and forecasting; effectively manage resources
- Develop and refine processes to improve efficiency and achievement of goals and objectives

Qualifications & Skills for Success:
- Typically requires four (4) or more years of relevant experience, including management experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; equivalent training or experience may be accepted in lieu
- Ability to work some evening and weekend hours
- Ability to work in the field extensively within the Suncoast region
- Bilingual or multilingual (English/Spanish/Creole) a plus
