Salary range: $150,000 - $165,000 plus bonus

PRESIDENT/EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OPPORTUNITY

Tee It Up for the Troops (TIUFTT) presents a unique and compelling opportunity for a mission-driven, externally focused, and highly capable nonprofit executive to serve as President/Executive Director. This leader will be responsible for setting and executing the strategic direction of the organization while serving as its primary ambassador, fundraiser, and operational leader at a national level.

The Board's desire is a President/Executive Director who can successfully grow our current offerings while developing key partnerships and funding to expand programming in direct support of our mission to serve veteran communities. This individual will continually seek ways to improve and innovate, ensuring that TIUFTT remains a leading force in delivering meaningful impact for veterans and their families.

ABOUT TEE IT UP FOR THE TROOPS

Tee It Up for the Troops is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring and supporting military veterans by using the game of golf as a platform to create meaningful impact. Through a series of golf events, partnerships, and community engagement efforts across the country, the organization raises critical funds and awareness for veteran-focused programs that address needs such as housing, employment, mental health services, and family support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

LEADERSHIP:
• Provide vision and leadership to Tee It Up for the Troops and its various events and operations across the country
• Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization nationally
• Be a collaborative team player who is willing to be "hands-on" when necessary but understands when to step back and lead the team

ORGANIZATION AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT:
• Lead the evolution and transformation of the organization to ensure alignment with its mission and vision
• Develop an annual budget for review and approval by the Board of Directors
• Practice sound fiscal management to ensure adequate funds are available to permit the organization to carry out its mission
• Oversee financial stewardship and accountability to support long-term mission impact

FUNDRAISING AND MARKETING:
• Develop and sustain a diverse funding base through annual events, sponsorships, and other fundraising opportunities
• Raise visibility of the organization through the development and implementation of a sustainable marketing campaign
• Implement creative strategies to increase event sponsorships and expand public awareness of the TIUFTT mission
• Oversee fundraising planning and implementation, including identifying resource requirements and establishing strategies to approach new donors

EVENT MANAGEMENT:
• Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of all organizational activities—including golf events, reunions, programs, and services
• Lead efforts to recruit and engage volunteers, donors, and sponsors at both national and local levels

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Veterans are encouraged to apply
• A bachelor's degree is preferred, with a focus on Business Management
• Substantial Non-Profit Leadership experience
• Fundraising and event planning experience
• Ability to effectively work with a Board of Directors
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

Location: Burnsville, MN (this is an on-site position)
