Property Manager II

Community Housing Partners (CHP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works with private and public partners to develop and preserve affordable homes and neighborhoods.
The Property Manager II is responsible for comprehensive oversight of an assigned multifamily property (more than 70 units or multiple properties), providing professional, courteous service in the highest ethical manner.
Essential Duties
- Manage on-site staff including leasing consultants and maintenance technicians
- Successfully market and lease units to maintain maximum occupancy (target 95%)
- Collect, post, and deposit income using YARDI Voyager rental software
- Inspect vacant apartments daily for compliance and readiness
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC, HUD, Section 8, and other regulatory programs
- Monitor property budget monthly to control costs
- Collaborate with HR and Regional Manager on recruitment and staff development
- Apply conflict resolution skills to address resident concerns professionally
- Work with Regional Manager to identify and schedule capital improvements
Education & Experience
- High school diploma minimum; Bachelor's degree in Housing Management preferred
- 3 years of property management or related customer service experience required
- Knowledge of government-funded property compliance (HUD, Section 8, LIHTC, RD)
