Senior Officer, Technical Partnerships (Economic Recovery & Development+)

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a dynamic Senior Officer, Technical Partnerships to lead on bringing together internal IRC teams to ensure the continued growth and development of strategic new business opportunities and meet private fundraising ambitions.

This role is part of the Program Services team and is managed in partnership between Program Services and the IRC's Economic Recovery and Development (ERD) Technical Unit. The position plays a central role driving IRC's ambitious Impact @ Scale (I@S) plans.

Locations: New York, NY HQ USA; London, UK; Nairobi, IHUB, Kenya (Open to Remote)

Major Responsibilities:
- Influence and guide strategic private-sector engagement across fundraising priorities
- Develop and implement business development strategy including positioning materials and donor engagement plans
- Represent I@S priority areas within agile teams and thought leadership working groups
- Provide high-level advisory input to GPLs and fundraising teams across priority areas
- Work alongside technical leads to develop compelling materials for strategic partnership development
- Support proposal development processes and participate in donor meetings
- Help develop standard ways of working and process workflows for cross-functional projects
- Manage portfolio of strategic partnerships and provide post-award project management support

Essential Qualifications:
- 6-7 years of related work experience, preferably with a large INGO in programs, fundraising and/or advocacy
- Outstanding communication, relationship management, writing, and presentation skills
- Experience with global ERD programming in low-resource settings
- Experience working with fundraising and grants management processes
- Excellent track record of delivering on sophisticated proposals and projects
- Bachelor's degree in international development, social work, or relevant area
- Experience developing and implementing multi-million-dollar partnerships

Desired: Knowledge of other IRC languages (Spanish, French, Arabic); international experience across diverse contexts; Master's degree in related field
