Senior Structural Engineer / Project Manager

Kleinfelder, a Forbes' Top Employer for Engineers in North America, is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer / Project Manager to join their structural team in New England. This role will lead a diverse portfolio of clients including local/municipal, state, federal, higher education and private industry across Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, and Rhode Island.

Position may be based in: Boston, MA; Worcester, MA; Portland or Augusta, ME; or Rocky Hill, CT

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for concept design, performing analysis and design of structures
• Prepare calculations, contract drawings and specifications, and estimating costs
• Review shop drawings and erection procedures
• Perform construction administration duties

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; master's degree in structural engineering or civil engineering strongly desired
• Licensed PE in Massachusetts; additional licensing in CT, RI, NH, and/or ME preferred
• 6-7 years of related experience, 3-4 years project related experience; 1-2 years coordination/supervisory experience preferred
• Progressive structural design experience, including engineering of medium to large industrial and commercial buildings
• Proficient in design of steel, concrete, prestressed concrete, timber and/or masonry
• Working knowledge of IBC codes and structural engineering applications (SAP, ETABS, STAAD, RAM Steel)

Compensation: Salary range: $102,341 - $187,959 annually (per Massachusetts Wage Transparency Act)
