POSITION OVERVIEW

MissionWired is seeking a direct-response marketer with experience optimizing digital programs for nonprofit organizations and/or political campaigns to join us as Vice President of Nonprofits. This role offers the unique opportunity to make a life-changing impact on causes as urgent and varied as empowering communities worldwide with top international aid organizations, promoting equity in education, and combating gun violence.

In this role, you'll be on the front lines of client relationships and responsible for designing and implementing cross-channel digital marketing campaigns that deliver stellar results. You'll work with many clients with very different types of engagements while managing a team of associates, strategists, writers, and production staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with nonprofit partners to develop strategies that maximize grassroots fundraising by bringing together breakthrough creative and tech resources, including custom, proprietary solutions

• Design innovative digital fundraising, advocacy, and communications campaigns

• Lead cross-functional teams to implement client campaigns over all digital channels, including email, web, social media, and search

• Generate relationships with new nonprofit partners (bring in organizations close to your heart!)

• Assess client KPIs and ensure maximum ROI of digital campaigns

• Advise clients on industry best practices and emerging strategies

• Provide clients with strategic marketing planning, including revenue forecasting and budgeting

• Work with client teams, including technology and creative, to assist in managing resources and timelines on projects

• Identify prospective clients in need of our services and provide an entrée for us to design and pitch engagements

• Provide top-quality customer service to clients, including regular reporting and invoicing

QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have:
• 6+ years of in-house nonprofit or agency experience in digital communications, fundraising, and marketing for nonprofit organizations
• Client management experience
• Experience managing cross-functional project teams
• Ability to juggle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
• Experience working with eCRM platforms such as Salsa, Salesforce, or Convio Luminate
• Passion for making our world a better place

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary: $135,000/year (depending on experience)

LOCATION

This is a fully remote position. Applicants may reside in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MA, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, NE, NC, NJ, NY, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WA.

Note: Supporting your team on some nights and weekends during high-volume times such as elections may be required.
