Trust and privacy
What we hold, what we do with it, and what we will not do. The full legal text is the privacy policy; this page is the plain version.
The commitments
- We do not sell or rent your information. Not your resume, not your email address, not your search history. There is no data broker in this business.
- Applying is between you and the employer. When you apply, you go to the employer or their search firm. We do not sit in the middle of it.
- One unsubscribe link, and it never expires. No sign-in to leave a list. Your mail client's unsubscribe button works too.
- Your account and your history stay yours. Every invoice and every posting an account has ever had moves with the account. Nothing is quietly dropped because it is old.
- Ask and we will tell you, or delete it. One email to [email protected] gets you a copy of what we hold on you, a correction, or a deletion.
Postings are posted by the people hiring
Every opening on this board was put there by the organization doing the hiring or by the search firm it retained, and it is reviewed by a person before it goes live. We do not scrape other boards and republish their listings as ours. How we build postings sets out the process.
When we get something wrong
We say so, we name it, and we fix it. The job alert unsubscribe is the current example: it broke, it stayed broken, and the job alerts page explains exactly how. We would rather publish that than have you find it.
The documents
- Privacy policy, the full text, including California rights and cookies.
- Terms of service, covering postings, payment and refunds, and acceptable use.
- About ExecSearches and who runs it.

Common questions about trust and privacy at ExecSearches
Does ExecSearches sell or share my personal information?
No. We do not sell, rent or trade your resume, your email address or your search history. There is no data broker in this business.
Does an algorithm screen out my application on ExecSearches?
No. We do not run resumes through automated screening and nobody is rejected by software. Applications go to the employer or their search firm, and a person reads them.
Does ExecSearches track me across the web?
No. There is no advertising network on this site and no cross-site tracking. A single cookie holds a sign-in and that is all it does. A visitor who is not signed in is not identified.
Are ExecSearches job postings real, or scraped from other boards?
Every posting is placed by the organization hiring or by the search firm it retained, and a person reviews it before it goes live. We do not scrape other boards and republish their listings as ours, and expired duplicates come down.
How do I get a copy of what ExecSearches holds on me, or have it deleted?
Email [email protected]. We will send you what we hold, correct it, or delete it.
How long has ExecSearches been operating?
Since 1999, in nonprofit and public sector executive search.
