Nonprofit job alerts
An alert is one email with the new openings that match what you asked for. Nothing else goes out on it.
Set one up now. Send us your alert and it starts on the next run. The message opens prefilled, so you fill in the blanks and send.
What you get, and what you will never get
- New openings only. No digests of jobs you have already seen.
- One unsubscribe link that works forever. It is not a login and it does not expire.
- Your mail client's own unsubscribe button also works, through the
List-Unsubscribeheader. - We do not rent, sell or trade the list. Not to recruiters, not to anyone.
- No tracking pixel that reports back when you opened it.
We are rebuilding this, and here is the honest reason
The old alert system reused one unsubscribe link per subscriber and that link was set to expire after a year. The sender never checked whether it had expired, so once it did, the link in every later email was already dead and nothing issued a new one. People who tried to leave could not. That is being replaced with a signed link that cannot expire, and alerts do not resume until it is. If you ever could not unsubscribe from us, that is why, and it was ours to fix.
In the meantime
- Search the board and save the address of a search you like. It keeps working.
- Browse by section and bookmark the ones you follow.
- Keywords, if you want to see what is on the board right now.

Common questions about ExecSearches job alerts
How do I get nonprofit job alerts from ExecSearches?
Send us the roles, sections, states and work setting you want and the alert starts on the next run. The job alerts page opens a prefilled message so you only fill in the blanks.
How do I unsubscribe from ExecSearches job alerts?
One click on the link in any alert, or the unsubscribe button your own mail client shows. The link is not a login, it never expires, and it takes effect on the click with no confirmation step.
Why did the ExecSearches unsubscribe link stop working?
The old system reused one unsubscribe link per subscriber and set it to expire after a year. The sender never checked whether it had expired, so once it did, every later email carried a dead link and nothing issued a new one. It is being replaced with a signed link that cannot expire, and alerts do not resume until it is.
Does ExecSearches sell or rent my email address?
No. Not to recruiters, not to data brokers, not to anyone. There is no list rental in this business.
Does ExecSearches put a tracking pixel in its email?
No. We do not get a report telling us when you opened a message or where you were.
How often do the alerts arrive?
Daily or weekly, whichever you ask for. Each one carries new openings only, so you are not sent the same job twice.
