Chief Executive Officer

Overview

ScionHealth is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Kindred Hospital Philadelphia, a 52-bed long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The CEO is responsible for establishing strategic and collaborative strategies to support competitive positioning and overall market growth, as well as providing operational and fiscal oversight for the facility.

Responsibilities

• Direct strategic planning, marketing, and annual budget preparation.
• Provide operational and fiscal oversight; evaluate leadership competence and performance.
• Ensure implementation of Governing Body policies and procedures.
• Respond to community needs and monitor medical activity quality.
• Oversee hospital mission, quality performance, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with HR on employee relations and staff turnover; conduct monthly operating reviews.
• Oversee business office functions and serve as liaison between the hospital and medical staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, or clinical specialty required; Master's degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum five years of senior-level experience in healthcare administration or management, preferably hospital-based, including facility operations, human resources, or finance. Multi-site experience and prior sales/marketing/public relations experience strongly preferred.
• Skills: Knowledge of JCAHO, local, state, and federal regulations; proficiency in budgeting, cost reporting, and Microsoft Office.
