Chief Operating Officer

Salary $130,000 - $150,000 per year

The Boys & Girls Club of Greenwich (BGCG) in Connecticut is hiring a Chief Operating Officer. The club has given Greenwich kids a safe place to learn and grow for more than 100 years. More than 350 children come to BGCG after school each day, and the club also runs summer programs at Camp Simmons and the Rebecca S. Breed Clubhouse. Reporting to the CEO, the COO oversees program delivery, staffing and organizational systems.

What you will do

• Lead all program and operational functions, and work with the CEO and leadership team on the strategic plan
• Set goals, KPIs and dashboards for program quality, operations, member outcomes and strategic progress
• Direct after-school, teen, workforce development and family engagement programs to Boys & Girls Clubs of America standards, with safety built into every program
• Grow membership into underserved parts of the community and strengthen teen programs
• Recruit, supervise and develop program and operations staff
• Manage program and operating budgets with the finance team, and oversee facility operations
• Keep the club in line with BGCA standards, reporting requirements and the NDYSO model

Requirements

• Seven to ten years of progressive senior management in youth development, education or human services; Boys & Girls Club experience strongly preferred
• A bachelor's degree; an advanced degree in education, social services, nonprofit management or a related field preferred
• Experience using data and evaluation to improve programs and outcomes

Full time, exempt. Salary range $130,000 to $150,000. Requisition 2026-8604.
