Director, Data & Analytics

PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Director of Data & Analytics is a strategic leader responsible for ensuring that NTFB's data, reports, and analytics are accurate, consistent and actionable to support effective decision-making across the organization. This role oversees the BI team, serves as the organization's expert in food banking business logic, and acts as a critical link between technical BI developers and business stakeholders. The Director also leads key aspects of NTFB's Data Governance program, ensuring data quality, change control, and other governance standards are properly adopted and maintained.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management/computer information systems, or related field

Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Proven ability to develop and execute enterprise-wide data and analytics strategies
• Expertise in data governance, data architecture, and advanced analytics
• Exceptional leadership, influence, and change-management skills
• Ability to communicate complex data concepts to executive and non-technical audiences
• Demonstrated experience with modern BI platforms, data warehousing, and cloud analytics solutions
• Strong business acumen and understanding of key organizational drivers, KPIs and performance measurement
• Hands-on knowledge of the Microsoft BI Stack, including Power BI and SQL Server
• Self-motivated, organized and capable of setting team priorities and meeting deadlines

Experience:
• Seven years of progressive experience in data and analytics, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Experience with BI operating models and implementing within a data governance framework
• Experience in food industry consumer-packaged goods or retail food distribution is a plus
