Director, Finance and Administration, SOM

Under the direction of the Associate Dean for Finance School of Medicine (SOM) and in collaboration with the Associate Vice President, Finance, Duke Health Integrated Practice (DHIP) the Director, Finance and Administration SOM supports the annual operating and financial projection processes for the Clinical Departments within the SOM.

Responsibilities include supporting the generation of financial reports and analysis for all academic components of the operations for the clinical departments, with a focus on comparative financial and mission-based reporting, long-term modeling, budget development tools, sponsored research analytics, and the development of business plans for new programs and initiatives.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (On-Site and Remote mix)

Anticipated Pay Range: $78,161.00 to $156,319.00

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance or equivalent
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in a financial management position
- Prior experience in leading the development of financial and analytical reporting tools

Preferred: MBA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification. Financial experience in a complex academic medical center or higher education.
