Director of Marketing

SPIRE Academy is seeking a Director of Marketing to lead the brand strategy for the Academy, its camps, leagues, and events. This senior role involves setting marketing strategy, managing the team, and positioning the Academy at the forefront of athlete development.

Location: Geneva, Ohio
Salary: $80,000 – $100,000 per year
Position Type: Full Time

Responsibilities:

Brand/Strategy:
- Set marketing strategy across admissions, camps, and events; define positioning and protect brand voice and visual standards

Campaigns:
- Execute integrated campaigns (digital, social, email, paid, print); drive enrollment and event attendance

Team/Partners:
- Lead the on-site marketing team and align marketing with institutional priorities (admissions, athletics, business development)

Performance:
- Manage marketing KPIs/dashboards and track industry trends; utilize AI tools to optimize workflow

Requirements:
- 7+ years in marketing, including brand and campaign strategy experience
- Proven track record of managing people or teams
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Fluency in digital, social, email, paid, SEO/SEM, and analytics
- Ability to move between strategy and hands-on execution
- Bachelor's degree required; valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Experience in sports, athlete development, or education marketing
- Proficiency with CRM and marketing automation
