EVP, Fundraising Strategy & Operations

The American Cancer Society is seeking an Executive Vice President (EVP), Fundraising Strategy & Operations. This is a 100% remote role based in Houston, Texas.

Serving as the primary internal operations officer for the Development pillar, this executive role architects the infrastructure, systems, and processes that power transformational revenue growth by unifying campaign management, constituent relations, data analytics, and gift processing.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:
- Provide visionary leadership to operations functions focused on Campaign Management, Constituent Management, and Development Services

Operational Strategy:
- Develop and implement operations strategy to eliminate bottlenecks and optimize CRM workflows and gift processing

Fundraising Enablement:
- Guide systems for donor moves management, pipeline reporting, and stewardship

Data Analytics:
- Lead analytics initiatives for donor segmentation, portfolio assignments, and ROI analysis

Financial Oversight:
- Forecast revenue, monitor departmental expense budgets, and report performance metrics to senior leadership and the board

Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience leading development operations and strategy across multiple fundraising channels
- Bachelor's degree required
- Expertise in fundraising operations and advanced proficiency with CRMs and data visualization tools
- Strong strategic and financial analysis skills
- Regular travel is required

- Effective interpersonal skills, diplomacy, and political savvy for cross-functional alignment

Salary: $206,000 - $270,000 annually
