Oakland Goes Outdoors (OGO) is a mission-driven program embedded within and working in partnership with Oakland Unified School District (OUSD), dedicated to creating equitable, curriculum-aligned Outdoors learning experiences for students during the school day and beyond. Since launching in 2018, OGO has made it possible for thousands of students, many for the first time, to explore nearby parks, forests, and shorelines as spaces for learning, connection, and growth.
