Market Chief Executive Officer

ScionHealth's Kindred Hospital Philadelphia, a 52-bed long-term acute care hospital, seeks a Market Chief Executive Officer to lead strategic and operational excellence across the facility. Reporting to senior leadership, the Market CEO establishes collaborative strategies to support competitive positioning, overall market growth, and business development through community and customer relations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct strategic planning and marketing for the hospital. Provide operational and fiscal oversight, including annual budget preparation. Oversee hospital leadership regarding mission, quality performance, compliance, and productivity. Conduct monthly operating reviews and manage consolidated reporting. Collaborate with HR on employee relations and turnover. Act as a liaison between the hospital and medical staff. Ensure maintenance of physical properties and oversee business office functions. Travel requirement: approximately 60%.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or clinical specialty required; Master's degree preferred. Equivalent experience may substitute.

Experience: Five years of senior-level experience in healthcare administration/management, preferably in a hospital setting (facility operations, HR, and/or finance). Multi-site experience and sales/marketing/public relations background preferred.

Skills: Knowledge of JCAHO/legal regulations, budgeting, accounting, cost reporting, and profit and loss management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
