National Financial Compliance Officer

IOM – International Organization for Migration (UN Migration) is seeking a National Financial Compliance Officer to support its US Financial Liaison and Compliance Unit based in Washington, D.C. The role oversees funds management, budgetary operations, and financial reporting for USG and US-based donor-funded projects.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor US federal regulations and assist in developing compliance documentation
- Support financial close-outs, audits, and budget negotiations
- Review SF-425 reports and coordinate with field offices
- Process fund drawdowns, monitor awards, and prepare financial reports
- Conduct training and provide guidance on USG grant compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field plus 2 years' experience; or Master's degree
- CPA or CIA certification a plus
- Experience in accounting, auditing, financial reporting, and grants monitoring; US-funded awards experience preferred
- Proficiency in SAP/Oracle, USG PMS systems, and MS Office
- Fluency in English required
