Operations Manager

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Operations Manager to join their safety-conscious team. This role plans, leads, organizes, and coordinates all duties associated with daily branch operations, improving operational efficiencies through effective utilization of equipment and personnel scheduling. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the #1 priority, following policies and acting safely at all times
• Coordinate and manage group activities and interactions with other divisions
• Coordinate scheduling of personnel and project assignments
• Conduct and supervise staff meetings
• Approve accounts payable/receivable and review monthly P&L statements
• Perform revenue forecasting and QA/QC of specialist work
• Oversee customer service responsibilities for office
• Directly supervise employees including hiring, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions
• Participate in developing project proposals, determining time frames, funding limitations, and staffing requirements
• Bid and assist in bidding industrial services projects
• Prepare reports for management, clients, and regulatory agencies
• Resolve billing issues and ensure safe execution of all services
• Cultivate client relationships and support customers through contract implementation

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science preferred
• 5+ years of industrial cleaning experience, including 2+ years in a management capacity
• Experience with standard/specialized industrial cleaning equipment
• Ability to efficiently schedule equipment and personnel for daily maintenance and project work
• Proven ability to resolve customer and employee complaints

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $50,500 - $159,963 annually. HPC-Industrial offers competitive wages, comprehensive health benefits after 30 days, 401(k) with company matching, generous PTO, company-paid training, and tuition reimbursement.
