Position Summary The university president is the chief executive officer of the University of Florida. Subject to appropriate accountability to and governance of the University of Florida Board of Trustees (the "Board"), the president is responsible for all operations of the university: overall leadership and management of the institution; its academic, research, healthcare, and land-grant enterprise; fundraising; intercollegiate athletics; the development of strategic plans; fiscal and budgetary plans; and the allocation of resources.
