Centerstone, a nonprofit behavioral health system, is hiring a Senior Director of Client Financial Services to lead revenue cycle operations, financial performance and data integrity for one of its electronic health record (EHR) platforms. The job reports to the Vice President, Client Financial Services. Its primary location is Bradenton, Florida, and it is hybrid: Centerstone also lists remote options in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana and Tennessee.
What you will do
- Lead Client Financial Services for the assigned EHR platform and its revenue cycle teams
- Act as the escalation point for complex payer, reimbursement, operational and system issues
- Keep revenue cycle data accurate and complete for financial reporting, forecasting, audits and regulatory compliance
- Oversee contractual allowances, bad debt reserves and reimbursement performance, and support month-end close
- Build cash flow projections, forecasts and variance analyses, and spot financial and reimbursement risks early
- Improve accounts receivable, days in A/R and clean claim rates, and tighten workflows and EHR use
- Work with Finance, IT, Clinical Operations, Compliance and Data Analytics leaders on organization-wide goals
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, business administration or a related field; a master's degree is preferred
- Seven to ten years of progressive healthcare revenue cycle leadership
- Experience in a multi-site healthcare organization with 5,000 or more employees across several locations or states
- Experience owning financial performance in a complex EHR environment and leading revenue cycle operations in a matrixed organization
- Behavioral health, integrated care, hospital system or payer experience is strongly preferred; experience with state-funded programs, grants or complex reimbursement is preferred
