Senior Financial Analyst

Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. This position provides comprehensive financial management and analysis for the Texas Child Mental Health Care Consortium (TCMHCC), overseeing budgeting, forecasting, grant administration, contract management, and sponsor compliance for a complex, multi-million dollar portfolio.

Division: Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
FLSA Status: Exempt

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning:
- Develop budget projections, manage pre/post-award processes, create monthly financial reports, and analyze variances

Grants Administration:
- Execute budget monitoring, sponsor reporting, and closeout activities while serving as a financial liaison

Systems Management:
- Manage purchase orders in Jaggaer, maintain effort allocations in Salesforce, and perform budget adjustments in SAP S/4HANA

Compliance:
- Ensure institutional and sponsor guideline adherence and reconcile financial transactions

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field
- Four years of relevant experience
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship provided)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with financial forecasting, budget analyses, and executive reporting
- Understanding of pre-award/post-award grant administration, financial compliance, and institutional accounting
- Working knowledge of SAP, Jaggaer, and Concur

Salary Range: $88,583 - $105,000
