Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

THE OPPORTUNITY

Froedtert ThedaCare Health (FTCH), a $7+B integrated, not-for-profit healthcare delivery system headquartered in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin (greater Milwaukee area), is seeking an experienced leader to serve as Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This is an outstanding career opportunity for a strategic and results-oriented financial executive to join one of the most highly regarded health systems in the United States.

The CFO will serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and to the Board and will be a key member of the executive leadership team, helping to lead the health system through its next phase of growth and success. THE ORGANIZATION

Froedtert ThedaCare Health (FTCH), formed through the January 2024 combination of Froedtert Health and ThedaCare, encompasses 25,000+ employees and 3,400+ providers, offering comprehensive services in 18 hospitals and in more than 360 outpatient locations including primary care health centers and clinics. Its Health Plan division serves more than 170,000 members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Coordinate development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans for the System's financial requirements
- Serve as a key strategic growth, business development and risk management leader
- Serves as the strategic financial adviser to the Board of Directors and Finance Audit Committee
- Establishes annual operating and capital budgets with balanced approach
- Provides financial leadership in achieving the System's strategy for planned regional growth
- Provides executive oversight of the System's treasury functions and balance sheet activities
- Represents the System in negotiations with external parties
- Provides executive oversight of revenue cycle operations and strategic payor relationships

IDEAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

- A minimum of 15 years of directly related health care experience required
- Must have proven track record of success in leading profitable financial operations for a multi-site, multi-service line healthcare enterprise
- Strong knowledge across all aspects of the finance function
- Experience in assessing M&A opportunities and partnerships
- Well-versed in the healthcare industry with ability to utilize market trends to influence strategic planning
- Experience in innovative risk bearing contracting (ACOs, clinically integrated networks, HMO, PPO, Medicare Advantage, capitation)
