Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin (FAEW) is the largest hunger relief organization in the state of Wisconsin, working to support neighbors in need through a network of nearly 600 hunger relief partners and trusted community-based programs. Since 1982, FAEW has worked to address food insecurity across Eastern Wisconsin.

The organization continues its vital mission to solve hunger in the community and seeks an innovative and dynamic leader who will inspire collaboration, elevate awareness, enhance the organization's cutting-edge approaches, and further expand a comprehensive vision for FAEW's central role in addressing food insecurity.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the chief strategist of FAEW, reporting directly to the Board of Directors
• Develop and execute strategic plans to expand FAEW's impact and strengthen its mission
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners, donors, corporate sponsors, and government entities
• Oversee all organizational operations, including programs, fundraising, finance, and human resources
• Lead efforts to raise awareness about food insecurity and advocate for systemic solutions
• Ensure fiscal responsibility and organizational sustainability
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence across the organization
• Represent FAEW in the community and serve as its primary spokesperson

Qualifications

• Proven executive leadership experience in nonprofit, social services, or mission-driven organizations
• Deep understanding of issues related to hunger, food insecurity, and community development
• Demonstrated success in fundraising, donor cultivation, and building strategic partnerships
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing complex organizational budgets
• Exceptional communication and public speaking skills
• Ability to inspire and lead diverse teams while fostering an inclusive organizational culture
• Strategic thinker with a track record of driving organizational growth and impact
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
