Job Description

The Program Manager actively develops and sustains relationships that grow the presence of the Club in the community by leading and cultivating partnerships with community organizations and regional school systems to advance programs at the Club site. Ensures that all foundational programming requirements are met, including all required curriculum-based programs and tracks and reports all grant requirements. Evaluates and recommends enhancements to programs based on the needs, interests, and characteristics of the youth to ensure an outcome-driven Club experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Serving youth (at least two years of direct service) with a demonstrable record of planning and implementing youth programs.
  • Managing (at least one year of demonstrated supervisory experience) by providing support, coaching, feedback, and guidance to ensure a high performing team.
  • Performance management: demonstrated ability to assist with performance and development of employees through clear performance objectives.
  • Programming management: worked with employees to discuss program quality and provide constructive feedback.
  • Employee administration: supported site-level onboarding of new hires and monitored timekeeping records for payroll.
  • A valid driver's license and ability to be insured under the company's insurance policy (at least 21 years of age, valid license for at least 3 years).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Boys & Girls Clubs experience (at least 1 year).
  • Experience in behavior management with youth.
  • Experience working with diverse populations of youth.
  • Bilingual - Spanish preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.

Conditions of Employment:

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally-accredited institution in education, human or social services, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Must be able to pass criminal and driving records investigations, and reference checks.
  • Valid driver's license; at least 21 years of age with valid license for 3+ years and no major violations.
  • Strong English proficiency required for effective communication with staff, Club members, and families.

Summary: Full-time, Non-Exempt | 32 hours/week | Monday-Friday (occasional weekends) | Posting closes March 13, 2026.
