Program Officer, Education

The Program Officer will support the implementation and refinement of the Education Program's refreshed 2026 strategy at the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation. Key responsibilities include: managing a portfolio of grants to support cross-sector collaboration between districts, schools, and partners to advance deeper learning, civic engagement, and equity; contributing thought leadership, shaping strategy, and stewarding resources; building authentic partnerships with grantees and field leaders; representing the Foundation externally through convenings, conferences, and site visits; and monitoring and evaluating program impact to inform future decision-making. The role carries an eight-year term limit and requires 30-40% national travel.
