Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager performs highly responsible professional, technical and analytical activities in support of MAAC's human resources programs. MAAC is one of the largest nonprofit social service organizations providing life-changing services to thousands of individuals annually.
Essential Duties:
• Ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws, regulations and guidelines
• Advises managers and supervisors on employee relations and discipline processes
• Conducts workplace investigations and prepares written findings
• Interprets policies, procedures, regulations and labor contract provisions
• Assists in development of HR strategies
• Collaborates with Recruitment Manager to analyze workforce needs
• Conducts position classification and compensation studies
• Leads an assigned Human Resources team
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, HR, psychology or related field
• 3+ years of progressively responsible HR management experience
• Experience with labor unions and/or nonprofit setting preferred
• SHRM or HRCI certifications strongly preferred
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
