Director of Business Development & Impact

ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW:
Practice Greenhealth is the leading sustainable health care organization, delivering environmental solutions to more than 1,700 hospitals and health systems in the United States and Canada. Practice Greenhealth is the health care sector's go-to source for information, tools, data, resources, and expert technical support on sustainability initiatives. Today, more than 1 in every 5 hospitals is part of our network.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
- Strategy & Vision: Create and drive sales strategies for Practice Greenhealth network expansion, aligned with organizational strategic objectives.
- Team Leadership: Supervise the Associate Director (AD) of Growth and the Growth & Partner Experience Manager.
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth by consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets while identifying new market opportunities.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee Growth team's operational functions including prospecting, forecasting, CRM tools, and data analysis.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Strategic Leadership & Oversight
- Translate organizational strategic priorities into actionable sales plans and annual growth targets.
- Design and refine retention and acquisition strategies in collaboration with the Solutions team.
- Establish and maintain high-level relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
- Direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations for the Growth team.

Membership Management
- Manage membership lifecycle across the end-to-end member journey: recruitment, retention, and expansion.
- Oversee association membership management tasks including surveys, renewal cycles, and invoice generation.
- Oversee the Growth team's budget and maintain accurate forecasts for all sales activities.

Sales & Revenue Management
- Utilize market research to adjust sales strategies to meet changing market conditions.
- Lead strategy for high-stakes or complex negotiations.
- Lead the revenue modeling and forecasting process in partnership with the Senior Director II.

Operational Excellence & Reporting
- Oversee Growth team's operational functions including Pipedrive CRM, organizational database, and Google Drive.
- Prepare regular reports for executive leadership including revenue projections, risk assessment, and market opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum Education: BA or BS in Business, Sales, Management, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum Experience: 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.
- Preferred Experience: 7 years, with demonstrated success in consultative sales, business development, and/or growth strategy within network/membership organizations.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in consultative sales, business development, and/or growth strategy.
- Proficient in CRM tools like Pipedrive or Salesforce.
- Healthcare sector expertise and sustainability knowledge a strong advantage.
